Debt consolidation is available for both full doc and alt doc across a range of Pepper Money home loan options, subject to lending policy, serviceability and responsible lending requirements.

Debts we may accept

Eligible debts may include:

  • Non-mortgage arrears 

  • Mortgage arrears

  • Other eligible unsecured debts 

  • On eligible loan options – full or partial payout of ATO Tax Debt 

  • On eligible loan options – payout of business debt 

  • On eligible loan options – payout of private debts

  • On eligible loan options – solicitor debts 

  • Payday loans 

  • Buy now pay later

Each debt must be verified and will form part of the overall credit assessment.

When assessing debt consolidation, we’ll consider:

  • The customer's ability to service the new loan

  • The purpose of the consolidation

  • Available equity

  • Existing liabilities

  • If this meets the client’s requirements and objectives

  • Overall suitability of the refinance

Before you submit

A complete application helps reduce assessment time.

Before lodging, check you've included:

  • Statements or payout figures for every debt being consolidated

  • Current mortgage statement

  • Income verification for the selected loan product

  • Asset and liability details

  • Living expenses

  • Any additional supporting information required for the loan type
